A Stark COVID Warning From Hamilton County Health Officials

Ohio State University

Hamilton County's number of daily positive coronavirus cases is the highest it's been since the pandemic started. That's the latest from Hamilton County officials who spoke Wednesday morning about the threat facing our community.

Hospitalizations in Greater Cincinnati have hit the highest levels since the onset of the pandemic in March and the county is now in danger of going "purple," the most-alarming level on Ohio’s color-coded health alert system.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss what Hamilton County is facing under the pandemic is WVXU reporter Jay Hanselman.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
