FDR & Eleanor: a new documentary details their use of the medium of radio

They were the first couple of American radio--using the medium during its golden age to win elections, battle the Great Depression and fight fascism. Today we'll talk about the new radio documentary, The First Family of Radio: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt's Historic Broadcasts, and look at how the Roosevelt's forever changed the way Americans relate to the president. Joining us to talk about this special, airing tonight at 7pm on 91.7 WVXU and 88.5 WMUB, is Stephen Smith, host and executive editor of American RadioWorks.
