Detours for downtown streetcar work

provided
/
City of Cincinnati

Work on the streetcar tracks will cause some traffic disruptions for the next three days.  Third Street will be closed between Walnut and Vine, and Walnut will be closed between Third and Fourth Streets starting Thursday night at 7, as contractors install rails.

Westbound Third Street traffic will be diverted south around the Freedom Center.  Southbound Walnut traffic will have to go west on Fourth Street.  Police will be on the scene to direct traffic.

The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. Monday.

In Over-the-Rhine, crews have been paving around the streetcar tracks along Twelfth Street between Main and Elm, and on Race from Findlay to Green Street.  That work is expected to be finished by next week.

The westbound lanes of Court Street, between Main and Walnut, will be closed Saturday as crews repair street pavers.
