This event began late in the afternoon on Friday, March 9th, when WVXU's City Hall reporter was the first to tweet, citing multiple sources, that the mayor was asking Cincinnati’s City manager to resign. This is where our coverage began and continued through mid-April, when the manager left his position. The coverage included on air, web stories and social media posts. Even though we ordinarily do not do weekend coverage we continued to report the story on the web and in social media posts on Saturdays and Sundays.
