Retiazsha Chambers
Retiazsha Chambers is a sophomore at Murray State University, majoring in agriscience technology with a minor in journalism.
Her hometown is Union City, Tennessee, but she spent most of her time in Hickman, Kentucky at Fulton County Schools. While in high school, Retiazsha was deeply involved in the National FFA Organization where she served as president her senior year, 4-H, and the National Beta Club. During her high school career, she competed and placed in multiple regional and state level competitions. As a result of her service, she soon began to enjoy public speaking and serving her community.
Retiazsha has always appreciated a good story from the news and enjoys listening to NPR Music Tiny Desk Concerts. She’s grateful for the opportunity to work with WKMS News and eager to expand her knowledge and experience in journalism.
