According to Hamilton County Auditor Dusty Rhodes, some taxpayers are paying more than their fair share of the tax burden for public services like education and transportation, while others are getting substantial tax breaks.

A recent county report shows that tax abated properties increased dramatically, from $3.7 billion in 2005 to more than $8.5 billion today.

County Auditor Rhodes speaks with Cincinnati Edition to explain the latest statistics and to discuss his concern over the growing number tax abatements granted.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
