For the first time in state history Kentucky's legislature is fully controlled by Republicans during the redistricting process. Now that the 2020 Census is complete, Kentucky is set to begin its map-making process. What impact could these super majorities in both chambers of the general assembly have on new legislative and congressional boundaries?
The League of Women Voters of Kentucky is advocating for a redistricting process that eliminates partisan gerrymandering.
"We want voters to choose their representatives. We don't want representatives choosing us," says Dee Pregliasco with the League of Women Voters of Kentucky.
