Hamilton County still finds itself deep in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic and may become the first in the state to be classified as "purple," the highest in Ohio's color-coded COVID-19 tracking system, indicating severe exposure and spread.

Meanwhile, local officials launch new initiatives to support the restaurant and arts industries which have been greatly impacted by the pandemic.
