American Factory won the Academy Award for best documentary feature Sunday night. Cincinnati Edition spoke to directors and Yellow Springs residents Julia Reichert and Steve Bognar about their recent Oscar win and the journey to make this critically acclaimed documentary, which profiles the lives of workers inside Fuyao, a Chinese-owned automotive glass factory in Moraine, Ohio.

Reichert and Bognar also talk about their next big project, 9 to 5: The Story of A Movement, which will premiere at the SXSW Festival in March. According to Reichert and Bognar, this latest documentary will feature Cincinnati and some remarkable women who fought back against the pervasive, on-the-job abuse that secretaries faced in the 1970s.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
