In the basement of the Clifton United Methodist Church, one finds the Ohio Lesbian Archives, one of just a few such collections of female-centric LGBTQ historical items.
The archives celebrates its 30th year in 2019.
The OLA is a collection of literature, trinkets, publications, artifacts and more, chronicling the historic journey of lesbians in Ohio and the U.S. An open house is scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 6-7 p.m., followed by a presentation on the history of the Ohio Lesbian Archives.
