Observatory Celebrates Galileo's Birthday

Inventing telescopes, pumps, and other mechanical devices, discovering moons, dropping things off buildings, running afoul of  The Inquisition, Galileo Galilei was a true Renaissance man. He was born on February 15, 1564, and the Cincinnati Observatory has something special planned for his 450th  birthday. Cincinnati Observatory Outreach Astronomer and Assistant Director Dean Regas talks about Galileo’s astronomical achievements, his greatest experiments, and what the Observatory has in store to celebrate his birthday.
