Examining the Nuclear Deal with Iran

The ministers of foreign affairs and other officials from the P5+1 countries, the European Union and Iran while announcing the framework of a Comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear program.

From America Abroad: On July 14, the United States and five other world powers signed an agreement to limit Iran's nuclear capability in exchange for lifting crippling economic sanctions. It's the culmination of nearly a decade of negotiations and will have far reaching impact throughout the Middle East. 

On this edition of America Abroad we present an in-depth look at the Iran nuclear agreement and a review of 10 years of negotiations with Iran. You will hear from those who have been directly involved in talks with Iran in the Bush and Obama administrations. In addition we will hear what Iranians in Tehran and Los Angeles think about the agreement and from experts on the impact in the years ahead.
