We Talk With American RadioWorks' Producer Samara Freemark

American RadioWorks produces and distribute programming for American Public Media, the national parent company of Minnesota Public Radio. American RadioWorks creates documentaries, series projects, podcasts and online content for the internet and public radio stations such as WVXU. The producers and reporters at American RadioWorks examine critical social issues and explore the people, ideas, and innovations that are changing education in the 21st century.

WVXU recently aired an American RadioWorks documentary on student veterans and the new GI Bill, produced by Samara Freemark. She  joins us to discuss that and other America RadioWorks programs.

WVXU will air the American RadioWorks documentary, Beyond the Blackboard: Building Character in Public Schools, produced by Emily Hanford, on September 24 at 7:00 pm, on 91.7 and 88.5 WMUB.

If you missed SamarahFreemark’s documentary, From Boots to Books: Student Veterans and the New GI Bill, when it aired last week on WVXU, you can listen to the program here.
