Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, died last week. In her wake, Franklin has left a musical legacy few other artists will ever touch — and, as expected, hits from the legendary R&B singer's catalog have shot back up the music charts following her death.

After months of searching, the fourth annual Tiny Desk Contest winner has been announced!

Take a look at the videos local artists have submitted for NPR Music's 2018 Tiny Desk Contest and tell us who your favorite is. We will announce the local winner on Thursday, May 3.

Enter the 2018 Tiny Desk Contest and you can play a Tiny Desk concert at NPR in Washington, D.C.; Tour the United States with NPR and Lagunitas.; and appear at a taping of NPR’s Ask Me Another.

NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series has hosted artists such as Adele, Jackson Browne and T. Pain. Last year NPR Music began the Tiny Desk Contest, which generated more than 7,000 entries for the chance to record an intimate video performance live at the desk of All Songs Considered Creator and Host Bob Boilen.
