It's time for the Ohio Valley Indigenous Music Festival featuring Native American music, vendors, arts & crafts and more – all happening at Patricia Allyn Park in Springboro.

The Mission of SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park, operated by The Dayton Society of Natural History, is to protect, preserve and research the cultural remains of the SunWatch National Historic Landmark archaeological site. The park also serves as a visitor and educational center for archaeology, Native American culture, and heritage stewardship as they relate to the site.

The discovery of a rare Native American artifact in Newtown is exciting for archeologists, but it's also raising more questions.

Contractors digging a trench for a fiber optic box north of Newtown's administrative hall earlier this month found human remains.  They called police who quickly realized it was a burial site and not a crime scene.  They, in turn, called the Cincinnati Museum Center.

There is an online petition drive devoted to making a used car dealership in Carthage replace its signage seen by some as offensive to Native Americans.

The Motor Time Auto Sales sign at Vine and 75th Streets may originate from when it was a Pontiac dealership, and portrays a Native American, grinning and waving at passersby.
