Noah talks with Marta Empinotti, a member of BASE...which stands for Bridges, Antennas, Spans and Earth. BASE is a group of people who like to jump from high places with parachutes to break their fall. Tomorrow, the West Virginia Highway Department will close two lanes of the New River Bridge, which stands eight hundred and seventy-six feet above the New River, in order to allow four hundred BASE jumpers to leap off the bridge, and to let between seventy-five and one hundred thousand spectators to watch them.
