Natasha Bowens is a farmer, author, and creator of the multimedia project The Color of Food, which explores in words and pictures the changing face of farming in present-day America.
Her book, The Color of Food: Stories of Race, Resilience and Farming, was developed through her multimedia project. She talked with Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard about how food and farming connects us to, and teaches us about, our heritage.
