Next Act - helping skilled unemployed workers over 50 find a job in NKY

With the 2008 recession and slowly-recovering economy, thousands of workers lost their jobs. While it is a blow to suddenly find yourself unemployed and forced back into the labor market, it is especially difficult for older workers. Senior Services of Northern Kentucky has developed a program to help skilled professionals 50 and older who have lost their jobs transition back into the workforce. Here from Senior Services of Northern Kentucky to discuss  the Next Act Program are Executive Director Jay Van Winkle, Mariann Dunn, Next Act Program and human resources manager, and Mike Dutle, director of client services.
