Who is Miami University's 'newest' trustee?

Gov. John Kasich is appointing David H. Budig of Cincinnati to the Miami University Board of Trustees. Budig's term begins March 11, 2013, and ends February 28, 2022.

Budig was filling the unexpired term of Kay Geiger, who resigned in spring 2011.

From Miami University:

Budig, a 1984 Miami alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in finance, is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Budco Group Inc. of Cincinnati, a family-owned holding company with interests in intermodal transportation, equipment leasing, real estate and investment/venture capital. The company has operations in more than 30 locations, throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. As an alumnus, Budig served a term as the president of the Miami University Alumni Association board of directors (1995-1999), served on Miami’s Foundation board (2001-2007) and the For Love and Honor corporate gifts campaign committee (2007-2010). In 2005, he delivered the annual “last lecture” to graduating seniors.
