Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches is coming to the Banks.  A release  from the development team of Carter and The Dawson Company says it will open in April on the south block of Freedom Way.   “The addition of Jimmy John’s helps round out the ‘something for everyone’ atmosphere at The Banks,” said Scott Stringer, Executive Vice President at Carter. “It will be another great option for those who are downtown looking for lunch or something quick.”

This leaves just two retails spaces available in Phase 1 A of The Banks project.  Open retail establishments are The Holy Grail, Tin Roof, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Johnny Rockets, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, Orange Leaf, Crave, Mahogany’s and the Police Welcome Center. Signed but yet to open are The Wine Guy Bar & Bistro and Yard House Restaurant.

In 2005, Maryanne Zeleznik came to 91.7 WVXU from WNKU where she served as News and Public Affairs Director for 20 years.
