China is a top global importer of many of the world's recyclable materials, but the country has begun banning dozens of these goods from several countries, including the United States. The move could mean the U.S. will have to ramp up its domestic recycling program.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss how China impacts our local recycling market are Rumpke Waste and Recycling Corporate Communications Manager for the West Area Molly Yeager Broadwater; and Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District Assistant Solid Waste Manager Michelle Balz.

Rumpke and Hamilton County both offer lists on what can be recycled.

Tune in to Cincinnati Edition July 25 at 1 p.m. to hear this segment.
