Three days later, on Tuesday night, Josh Mandel – the state treasurer who is challenging incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio’s U.S. Senate race – will be joined by two high-profile Republican senators – John Thune of South Dakota and Jim DeMint of South Carolina.

The Cincinnati Tea Party-sponsored event begins at the Sharonville Convention Center at 8 p.m.; and those who wish to attend are asked to send an e-mail to Rally@CincinnatiTeaParty.org.

Wednesday night is “Greek night” at the GOP’s Westwood call center at 2300 Montana Avenue. Volunteers will be served Greek cuisine. Hamilton County GOP chairman Alex Triantafilou – a Greek American  - and Hamilton County commissioner Chris Monzel will be on hand.
