Housing development planned for Mt. Healthy

Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority's newest housing development is slated for Mount Healthy.

CMHA plans to build a home for people with disabilities on the site of the former Duvall school on Compton Road. Spokeswoman Kelly Kramer says the facility fills a need outlined in a study last month.

"That recent housing study showed a need for more accessible housing in the area. The space where this is going was a former school in the Mt. Healthy area so it's a good location for some development to meet that accessible housing need," she says.

The meeting will include project renderings and a chance for community members to voice any concerns they may have. It starts at six p.m. at The Reserve on South Martin (7363 Martin St, 45231).
