Tickets are available for the D.W. Eye Comedy Club reunion show 8 p.m. Friday, June 23 at the 20th Century Theater to celebrate the city's 1980s Calhoun Street night spot.
Performing at the reunion will be Drew Hastings, Steve Caminiti, Michael Flannery, Rico Bruce Wade, Mark Klein, Bob Batch, Chili Challis, Jimmy Gilece, Cap and Johnny, Myles Kapson and Alex Bernstein, who wrote about his teen-age years on stage at D.W. Eye in his book "PLRKNIB."

Bernstein and Flannery talked about a possible D.E.Eye reunion show when I interviewed them for WVXU-FM's "Around Cincinnati" in March.
The comedy talent nurtured at D.W. Eye later became stand-up comics seen on "The Tonight Show," TV sitcom guest stars, game show hosts, Second City directors, executive producers, "Tonight Show" writers, film actors and authors.
The cozy club at 277 Calhoun St., across from the old University YMCA and Calhoun Hall, was torn down for a DiBella's Subs and a parking garage in the U-Square development.
Tickets are available for $20 with no services at this link. Tickets also are $20 at the door of the theater, 3021 Madison Road, Oakley. Doors open at 7 p.m.
