David Lewis has a commentary on the life and times of Cincinnati musician “Ragtime” Bob Roberts. Bob Roberts was born in Cincinnati on April 27, 1871. He became a pioneer in most of the things he tried: ragtime composer, recording artist, stand-up comedian and early radio comic. Later in his career, he worked for WCKY. He died of a heart attack in his home at 3671 Vine Street on January 21, 1930 and was buried in the family plot at Spring Grove Cemetery.
