Local blues guitarist Sonny Moorman begins this week's edition of the Blues, which will air at 11 o'clock on Saturday evening, March 28th, with a song from his group's latest cd, "Lucky 13." The rest of the first set includes Gov't Mule and the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. They begin a European tour on April 10th and when they return to the states, they'll be performing at Huber Heights on June 24th.
The second set featured Chicago blues queen Shirley Johnson, Leroy Ellington &E'Funk's version of "Cold Sweat", along with Deborah Coleman and the Yardbirds.
And finally, the Blues ends with the High Street Rhythm Rockers and the spirited Monty Alexander Trio caught live at Montreux.
