Experience: Olivia Gilliand is a Cincinnati native and a lifelong listener of Cincinnati Public Radio. She completed her first year at Ohio University where she is studying Journalism with a minor in German. She is a staff writer at The Post and will be hosting its Weekly News Roundup radio show in the fall. Gilliand is a Scripps Innovation Scholar and was recently awarded the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism Director’s Award for her work on OU's pause on diversity scholarship story. She plans to pursue foreign correspondence work upon graduation.
