Cincinnati Ballet And Its Artistic Director On The Move

Provided
Cincinnati Ballet Artistic Director Victoria Morgan

She has given 25 years of leadership to the Cincinnati Ballet. Now Artistic Director Victoria Morgan announces she is retiring at the end of the 2021-22 season. Morgan makes her announcement just as the ballet begins moving into a new building. The company has a soft opening in the new $31 million Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance in Walnut Hills June 14.

Morgan was instrumental in the effort to secure funding for the new facility. She has also been much more than an artistic director during her time with the ballet. For a time, she also served as artistic director and CEO, a period the ballet credits her for helping to stabilize the company's finances after years of deficits.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss her career with the Cincinnati Ballet is Artistic Director Victoria Morgan.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
