Derek Terry.

Cincinnati-based Reverend Derek Terry appeared on OWN's Iyanla: Fix My Life over the weekend. This was a follow-up appearance for Terry who was first on the show in 2015.

The series centers around a personal life coach who works to address people's pressing issues. Terry was invited back for a special "where are they now?" segment.

In the 2015 show, Terry came out as gay to a national audience.

Terry is a reverend at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Pleasant Ridge, where he leads a congregation committed to social justice and acceptance of people.

Terry joins Cincinnati Edition to talk about his experiences within the church and  his second appearance on the TV show.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
