Trees are cut down at the John T. Nieman Nursery, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, in Hamilton, Ohio.

With Christmas around the corner, for those who celebrate, it's time to get our homes and lawns in the holly jolly spirit.

Do you prefer the hassle-free convenience of an artificial tree, or a classic live tree? If you prefer the live variety, what is the best way to go about choosing one?

But before we even get to Christmas, we have to get through Thanksgiving. Is any part of your garden's harvest making its way to the table on this holiday?

For a full hour in our monthly gardening show, we'll take your calls about those matters, and anything else on your mind related to gardens, plants, landscapes, trees and more. Call us at 513-419-7100 or email your questions or comments to talk@wvxu.org.

Joining Cincinnati Edition are Boone County Extension Service agent David Koester; Turner Farm Community Garden Manager Joshua Jones; and Campbell County Extension Office Sarah Stolz.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
