For most people, the U.S. presidential election is over.

But one important player has not yet reached that conclusion: President Donald J. Trump.

Trump, who became the first sitting president defeated for reelection in nearly three decades, has so far refused to concede and continues to challenge results across several key states.

Meanwhile, President-elect Joe Biden is moving forward with his transition despite a lack of cooperation in any formal capacity from existing White House leadership.

And COVID-19 is surging faster than ever across the country, as Americans continue to wait for legislative relief.
