Taylor Swift, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Others Added To 'One World: Together At Home' April 18

Friday April 17 update: The Rolling Stones were added Friday to the all-star One World: Together At Home eight-hour television and streaming special starting 8 p.m. Saturday.

Wednesday April 15 update: Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams and a dozen other stars have been added to the eight-hour One World: Together At Home coronavirus relief event starting 8 p.m. Saturday April 18 on multiple networks and streaming services.

And more big names will appear on a six-hour pre-show livestream, Billboard says.

The eight-hour One World, hosted by late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, will raise funds and awareness to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

Added to the program along with Swift, J. Lo and Usher were Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, LL Cool J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Shawn Mendes and Victoria Beckham, according to Deadline.

The livestream at 2 p.m. Saturday, according to Billboard, will feature more than 70 artists.

Original post Wednesday April 8: For the first time, late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon will co-host together on a multi-channel simulcast to raise funds and awareness to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two-hour One World: Together at Home "is not a telethon, but rather a global broad entertainment special to celebrate the heroic efforts of community health workers and support the World Health Organization and the global fight to end COVID-19," says the joint press release from ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS and the BBC.

Schedule to appear: Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Lizzo, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Maluma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Sesame Street cast members.

In addition to the music, Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel will host "cameos from the worlds of music and arts, sports superstars, and comedic sketches, while always drawing back to its core purpose – to educate and inform on COVID-19 risks, prevention and response. The broadcast will feature interviews with experts from WHO as well as stories of frontline healthcare workers from around the world," the release says.

The special will be seen 8-10 p.m. Saturday, April 18 on these networks and platforms:

One World: Together at Home also will be streamed with "additional artists and performances from all over the globe" on Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Alibaba, Facebook, Hulu, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube, the networks say.

BBC One will broadcast an edited version of the event for UK audiences on Sunday April 19.
