As director Steven C. Miller promised last October, Cincinnati will play a visible role in "Marauders," the bank robbery action film shot here last fall.

The two-minute "Marauders" trailer, released today, opens with an aerial shot over the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge. Between lots of automatic weapons firing, you'll also see the Dixie Terminal Building, Carew Tower and a white Local 12 News van.

It’s time again to look for the lights, cameras, action!

Filming is set to begin on “Marauders,” the bank theft thriller starring Bruce Willis (Die Hard,” “The SixthSense,” “Armageddon”), Dave Bautista (“Gaurdians of the Galaxy”) and Christopher Meloni (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Man of Steel,” “42”) and Johnathon Schaech (“That Thing You Do”).

Director Steve C. Miller announced on Twitter last Friday that he was “one week out from principal photography.”

Pop star Mariah Carey will make her directorial debut while starring in a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie here in October.

The Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Film Commission announcement of Carey’s “Melody & Mistletoe” comes five days after news of the Bruce Willis-Dave Bautista “Marauders” movie to be filmed here later this month.

Both films, which could be shooting at the same time, need extras and crew.
