UC-CCM Alumni Launch Entertainment Industry Podcast

Hosts Brian J. Leitten (top) and Dylan Mulvaney.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced the entertainment industry to a virtual halt, much like it did other sectors.

But two graduates of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music (CCM) found a way to be productive over the past year.

Though they are separated by nearly 20 years between their respective graduations, Brian J. Leitten and Dylan Mulvaney connected on campus and reconnected online for a virtually produced podcast showcasing CCM's pipeline to the entertainment business.

The pair finished their first season just this week, and all episodes of the School, Stage and Screen podcast can be heard here.

Throughout the series, listeners are treated to conversations with CCM alumni, including those working as band leader for Lady Gaga; appearing in TV, movies and Broadway; or making music in Nashville.

Mulvaney and Leitten spoke with Cincinnati Edition about their process.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
