The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency was founded in 1964 to offer services to low-income individuals and families to help lift them out of poverty.
Along with housing and other assistance services, the Agency provides early childhood education programs and several career and job initiatives, from summer youth employment to Nursing Assistant and manufacturing training to its Fresh Start program for ex-offenders.
Joining us for a look at the history, mission and work of the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency are Head Start Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator Ryanne Mitchell; and Community Engagement Coordinator Lamont Taylor.
