More Interest Than Ever For School Board School

Provided
School Board School class 3

With the COVID-19 pandemic leading to virtual learning in many schools this fall, it is an unprecedented time to be serving on a local school board. Perhaps that is in part why a Cincinnati program focused on educating aspiring school board members is experiencing growing demand.

School Board School announced its largest class to date, with 29 participants joining for the third class. The program is described as equipping "education advocates and aspiring school board members with the knowledge and network to drive systematic change." This year's class is held virtually, and classmates are not limited to the Cincinnati region. The class includes participants from Washington, D.C., Houston, and New Jersey.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss School Board School are Founder and Executive Director Elisa Hoffman; and classmates Quanice Floyd and Kristan Sterling.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
