Preview The Cincinnati Bar Association's 2020 Judicial Forums

ELAINE THOMPSON / AP

When you fill out your mail-in ballot or step into the voting booth this Nov. 3, you may find yourself a little overwhelmed by the 20+ judicial candidates listed on this year's ballot. The Cincinnati Bar Association wants to help.

There are 26 judicial candidates in Hamilton County and that is a lot for voters to examine before casting a ballot. But the Cincinnati Bar Associate is hosting two judicial forums to familiarize voters before they cast a ballot.

The forums are virtual on Sept. 29 and Oct. 1 and feature the candidates for election to the Common Pleas Court of Hamilton County and the Appeals and Specialty Courts.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the forums and the judicial survey the Bar Associate puts out to help inform voters are Cincinnati Bar Association Past President John Williams and League of Women Voters of Cincinnati President Elizabeth Brown.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
