Officials are breaking ground Tuesday on the latest portion of the Banks project. Phase IIIA is a 690 space parking garage.

Project Executive Phil Beck says the work also includes extending Race Street one block south.

"We'll be working on Phase IIIA for the remainder of 2015 and delivering this project (in the) fourth quarter of 2016," says Beck.

The total cost is about $29.3 million.

As WVXU reported, Hamilton County Commissioners approved this public portion of the Banks project in June.
