For decades, The Point/ARC has assisted local individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. By connecting these individuals to educational, residential, social and vocational opportunities, The Point is helping them to reach their highest potential.

A nontraditional social services agency, The Point goes beyond basic case management, creating opportunities within the organization itself. The Point operates screen-printing and commercial laundry operations, and most recently opened a small coffee shop in downtown Covington. Even more recently, the organization is in the midst of construction on a more than $2 million expansion of its Covington offices, with a new building known as the Zembrodt Education Center in progress on Washington Street.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to talk about The Point and its future are Zembrodt Education Center Vice President Jennifer Wells and Program Director Robyn Dischar.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
