Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred headlines the scheduled guest list for the “Mike & Mike” show national broadcasts on ESPN2 and ESPN Radio from the Moerlein Lager House next week.
On Monday and Tuesday, Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will host All-Star Game themed shows 6-10 a.m., which will be open to the public. The scheduled guests so far are:
Monday, July 13: Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost; Chicago White Sox slugger and Hall of Famer Frank Thomas; and former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz, who will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame July 26.
Tuesday, July 14: Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred and San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy.
More guests will be announcd later, says an ESPN publicist.
The Moerlein Lager House site says it will offer a “Mike & Mike” breakfast buffet on July 13-14 with doors opening at 5 a.m. Cost per person is $15.99 and includes bacon, sausage, two types of prepared eggs, fruit and hash browns. (Ticket does not include drinks, sales tax or gratuity.) The bar and Bloody Mary bar will open at 5:30 a.m. on both days. No reservations will be taken, the site says.
Golic, a nine-year NFL veteran from Cleveland, and former “SportsCenter” anchor “Greeny,” have co-hosted the ESPN morning radio show for 15 years. The show is available on ESPN Radio and ESPN affiliates across the country, including WCKY-AM (1530), and on espnradio.com, ESPN Radio app, SiriusXM Channel 83, Apple iTunes and Slacker Radio.
