Dennis Ross served in critical diplomatic roles to Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama's administrations, and also served as a special adviser to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
In his new book, Be Strong and of Good Courage, co-written with David Makovsky, Ross explores the stories of the founding fathers of Israel, the Middle East's only democracy.
Ross is in Cincinnati this week for a presentation and book signing at the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and its Jewish Community Relations Council.
Ross joins Cincinnati Edition to talk about his time playing a role in shaping U.S. involvement in the Middle East's affairs, including some historic accords and treaties, and about other pressing issues in the region.
