Josh McDermitt, who plays Dr. Eugene Porter, on the wildly successful AMC series, The Walking Dead, will be appearing this weekend, March 20th through the 22nd, at the Horror Hound Weekend at the Sharonville Convention Center. Other Walking Dead cast members, past and present, including Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl will also be there.
I spoke with Josh this afternoon about Eugene's back story and his accent (which is Texan). I also asked him about this part being a dream job. Josh also talked about the Walking Dead spinoff, and a soon-to-be-released Eugene action figure.
He said that he'd be signing autographs & posing for photos during his upcoming Horror Hound Weekend appearance in Sharonville. At the end of the interview, he spoke about being a licensed hot air balloon pilot and challenged the cast of The Walking Dead to go up with him.
