O Canada

Ohio sells more goods to Canada than to the state’s next ten largest foreign markets combined. In 2013, trade between Ohio and Canada exceeded $37 billion, and more than 300,000 Ohio jobs depended on trade and investment with our neighbor to the north. The Consul General of Canada for Ohio, Douglas George, recently toured the state, meeting with political and business leaders to highlight the economic relationship between Canada and the Buckeye State. While in Cincinnati he participated in a conference hosted by PNC Bank. Consul General Douglas, Kay Gieger, president of PNC Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, and Bill Hines, president of PNC Canada, took time stop by the studio to speak with us.
