Cincinnati's Office of Ethics and Good Government conducted an investigation into complaints about Council Member Seth Walsh's office, filed by an aide Walsh fired in May.

The city of Cincinnati has paid a $30,000 settlement to a former aide of Council Member Seth Walsh, and the recently appointed council member is facing an investigation by the Office of Ethics and Good Government.

Congressman-elect Greg Landsman officially resigned his position on Cincinnati Council Monday. Shortly after, Seth Walsh took the oath of office to finish out Landsman's term, which goes through 2023.

Seth Walsh is replacing Greg Landsman after Landsman moves to Washington, D.C., to represent Ohio's 1st District in Congress.
