He began as a visual artist before becoming a music star as lead singer and songwriter for the seminal new wave band Devo. Akron, Ohio native MarkMothersbaugh’s day job now is writing music for TV and movies, but he has never stopped creating art.
His exhibition Myopia opens on September 25 at Cincinnati’s Contemporary Arts Center and he talks about his creative careers and this exhibit with Jim Nolan.
