The future of CVG and its governing board is the topic of an upcoming community forum

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport plays a critical role in the economic vitality of our region. But how the airport is managed has been up for debate for some time now. A bill that would reform the Kenton County Airport Board was introduced in the Kentucky General Assembly but now looks unlikely to move forward.  Joining us today to discuss House Bill 208 and how the airport could be governed in the future is Kris Knochelmann, Kenton County judge-executive; Hamilton County CommissionerTodd Portune; and, James Pilcher, Northern Kentucky reporter for The Cincinnati Enquirer.

The Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement at Northern Kentucky University is presenting a forum to explore possible futures for the airport, and discuss whether a regional asset should be governed solely by the airport?'s ?owner,? the Kenton County Fiscal Court. ?CVG?'SFUTURE: UP IN THE AIR?? will be held Tuesday March 10, from 7:00 to 8:30, at the NKU METS Center.
