The Efforts To Reduce Sex Trafficking In Cincinnati
Last April, 42 people were arrested in a three-week blitz against prostitution along the McMicken Avenue corridor. Sex trafficking continues to be a problem in the city, with the West McMicken, Price Hill and Walnut Hills areas experiencing the most prostitution activity.
Joining us to discuss efforts to reduce prostitution in Cincinnati are Councilmember Yvette Simpson; Cincinnati Union Bethel Executive Vice President and ?Off the Streets? Program Director, Mary Carol Melton; and Cincinnati Police Specialist Nate Young, who was instrumental in the successful McMicken PATH (People Against Trafficking Humans) project.
