Hamilton's popular IceFest is back this weekend. The two-day festival features more than 80 ice sculptures scattered throughout downtown.

Chairman Tim Naab says this year's theme is "landmarks of the world".

"We have the Eiffel Tower. We have the Taj Majal. We have Niagara Falls; some landmark buildings from the Pacific West that I'll leave nameless because... we want (people) to be able to use their imagination. We'll 85-plus sculptures that are all named and highlighted in lights," he says.

Besides the ice carvings themselves, there are also events for kids, carving competitions, photography competitions and a mock dog sled race. The sculptures will be lit with colorful lights after dark as well.

The event runs Friday and Saturday.
