Jack Bruce, bass player for Cream died October 25, 2014 at the age of 71

In honor of Jack Bruce, bass player for the legendary band Cream, who passed away last weekend, we will air a special episode of Jazz with OT, recorded in 1974, that features some of Cream's most memorable tunes.

You will hear tracks from Cream’s “Disraeli Gears,” “Fresh Cream,” and “Wheels of Fire” albums.  Some of Jack Bruce’s solo albums are also featured, including songs from his albums “Things We Like,” “Song for a Tailor,” and “Harmony Row.” Other songs on the program are from albums by Graham Bond Organization, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and from Carla Bley’s album, “Escalator Over the Hill.”
