American Experience: 'The Vote' Profiles 100 Years Of Women's Suffrage

The next installment of the PBS anthology series American Experiencechronicles 100 years of women's suffrage and the events leading up to the 1920 decision.

The two-part, four-hour installment, titled The Vote, premieres Monday, July 6, with Part Two airing the following night on PBS stations.

The story of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is narrated by Kate Burton and features the voices of popular performers Mae Whitman, Audra McDonald, Laura Linney and Patricia Clarkson.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to talk about the new documentary is writer, director and producer Michelle Ferrari.
